I have always loved pinwheels!

Today, I found a new pinwheel to love!
I'm going to make these little guys for a Thanksgiving appetizer!

Sausage Pinwheels

1 lb. sausage (I use pork sausage)
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
2 cans crescent rolls

Cook sausage, drain. Stir in cream cheese. Use 4 triangles in a rectangle shape (press seams closed) and spread mixture thinly, leaving 1/2 inch border empty around outside edge. Begin with long side; roll up, jellyroll style. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze. (Repeat with rest of dough and meat mixture.) When ready to bake, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Let rolls soften slightly. Slice about 1/4 inch thick and bake until breading in lightly brown, 9 to 11 minutes.

Serve piping hot! Yum!
