The fears in my head could sometimes pop up strangely like facebook updates:

Londa is afraid of the attacker on the loose in her town.
Londa is afraid that her children will ride their bikes into the street.
Londa is afraid girls will be mean to Cloe at school.
Londa is afraid to leave her windows open.
Londa is afraid to eat raw cookie dough.
Londa is afraid of jumpy dogs.

As you can tell, I could be a little basket case of worry today--some serious and some obviously not so much!
However, God has totally been bringing this verse to mind:
2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear or timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline (sound mind)."
So, I'll choose "whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." Philippians 4:8

I really hope our dog wasn't one of the 'jumpy' dogs.

No--surprisingly, Magnum is on my list of "like" dogs! He was a stellar protector today--I may need to adopt one of his siblings in the future to keep us safe!
