Bon Voyage

belle-mère and beau-père

Hope your trip to France is formidable!

Say hi to mon frere...
...and the rest of the famille.
Please remind him...Mon frère est un dingue.

Your belle-fille will be home trying not to be jealous taking care of your beau-fils and our belle-famille.

See you soon!

*A special thanks to une autre mere for the French tutorial!
Check out her blog today for another fabulous French lesson!
I'm sure I'll be fluent in no time at all!

Formidable! I'm très impressed with your beautiful usage of le français! You'll be winning my prize for sure - especially since no one else even qualified...

And I'm jealous with you this week. Didn't they see the need to hire me as their French translator?

To My Dearest Sister,

I would like to write you a lengthy note about how much fun I am having with your in-laws, but we are all too busy picking French pastry crumbs out of our teeth.

Tomorrow is raclette cheese day. We would love to call you but our mouths will be stuffed with the rich gooey flavor of the finest French raclette.

By the way, older & wiser sister - raspberry season is in full swing. I saw an raspberry tart today and the raspberries were piled about an inch thick. Have I said raspberry enough?

PS Denise thinks I've gone over the top with this comment; I think not.

Dearest Older Brother....I'm pretty sure you can stuff a raspberry tart in mom and dad's suitcase for them to bring back - I don't care what it looks like when it gets here!!!!
